Misconception: If a product is 100% Natural, it must be healthy for me
Fact: While natural products have distinct advantages over their non-natural alternatives, many natural products still contain a lot of calories which isn’t a good characteristic of a beverage you should be consuming every day. Vivi Next Generation Soft Drink is 100% natural, but it also only contains only 55 calories per serving - that’s somthing you can drink every day.
Misconception: Diet drinks are great for people on diets
Fact: Just because there aren’t any calories in a beverage doesn;t mean its good for you. Not only do many diet drinks contain questionable artificial sweeteners, but they can actually make you even hungrier. Studies have shown that people who consume diet drinks tens to consume more calories throughout the day, even when on a diet.
Misconception: All sodas contain empty calories
Fact: Empty calories are those that aren’t accompanied by any other beneficial nutrients. While many soft drinks do fall under the category of empty calories, others don’t. Vivi Next Generation Soft Drink doesn’t contain empty calories because it also has lots of antioxidants and vitamins from the acai berry extract it contains.
Misconception: Energy drinks are great for an energy boost
Fact: The only ingredients in energy drinks that give you an appreciable ‘energy boost’ are the excessive sugar and caffeine contained within. Other ingredients like taurine and b-vitamins contribute towards the placebo effect many people get from guzzling huge cans of this stuff.
